Experienced microbiologist with a Ph.D. in Bio-science and extensive research background in microbial biotechnology, specializing in lignocellulose bio-conversion and recombinant protein production. Skilled in fermentation processes, enzymatic hydrolysis, and techno-economic analysis with a strong track record in both academic and industrial environments.
EducationDoctor of Philosophy; Bio-science (International Program) King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (2021) Dissertation: Bioconversion of Lignocellulose Materials by Enzyme from White Rot Fungi for Butanol Fermentation Detail : The objectives of this research were to study the ligninolytic enzyme production from white rot fungi and use that enzyme to pretreat lignocellulosic biomass for sugar production. Structure of pretreated rice straw and sawdust were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). It is indicated that, biological pretreatment was successful to remove lignin content from sawdust. On the other hand, the decrease of crystalline index resulted from change of glycosidic linkage in hemicellulose and cellulose of pretreated rice straw. Moreover, crude enzyme from P. neostrigosus I9 could simultaneously work with commercial cellulase as single step pretreatment and hydrolysis of lignocellulosic biomass (simultaneous biological pretreatment and saccharification, SPS). Master of Science; Applied microbiology King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (2008) Thesis: Pigment production by Monascus fungus using decanter wastewater as substrate. Bachelor of Science; Microbiology Khon Kaen University (2002) Project: Purification and production of Antimicrobial protein from Microcystis aeruginosa. |
